Accounting for Asset Managers
Why is this course for you?
A key output of the asset management planning process is financial information which is used by the organisation to forecast both the finances needed to deliver the agreed levels of service and the decline in service potential of the assets used over time. In order to produce this financial information, the asset manager needs a good understanding of accounting principles as they relate to asset management.
This seminar is designed for people involved in any aspect of asset management that do not currently have a financial background. The accounting principles is covered in this seminar are applicable to a wide range of assets including transportation, water, waste, stormwater and land drainage, energy, telecommunications and a vast range of property types.
