This advanced course builds on the Introduction to Levels of Service seminar and looks at how to integrate levels of service into decision making. The seminar will be a mixture of presentations and interactive workshops created specifically for the Local Government sector.


Based on the NAMS Developing levels of service and performance measures guidelines, this seminar covers:


  • Critically reviewing your performance management framework, levels of service and performance measures
  • Developing and costing levels of service options
  • Level of service decision making and organisational trade-offs
  • Consultation techniques relevant to level of service debate with communities and stakeholders


Workshop sessions, case studies and group discussion forums will be used to practically illustrate the theory
